Additional Information File and Related Delivery Improvements

The MPF Program is excited to announce the streamlining of data delivery requirements for specified MPF products.

Effective March 9, 2020, PFIs who deliver MPF loans by uploading data files through the “batch” submission functionality in eMPF®  will no longer be required to submit the Additional Info file for deliveries into all MPF Traditional and MPF Xtra Servicing Retained products. Effective March 9^th, if a user intending to submit a batch selects a Master Commitment for MPF Traditional or MPF Xtra servicing retained the browse option for the Additional Info. File will no longer appear on the file upload screen in eMPF; only the an option to upload a ULDD .xml will be present.  

It is important to note that the 71 field version of the Additional Info File will still be required for batch deliveries into MPF Xtra Bifurcated Servicing Released and all MPF Government MBS products. While still required for these product types, the MPF Program has relaxed the conditionality requirement of fields 2-34 of the Additional Info File.  Null values will be accepted and preferred for fields 2-34; however, data in those fields will not be consumed and no rule edits associated with the fields will be displayed to users.  Should values be provided for the fields that will become no longer necessary effective March 9th, please adhere to the previously established acceptable enumerations. Please refer to the updated MPF Additional Info File Template, Sample and Layout files posted to the data resource page on fhlbmpf.com.

PFIs delivering individual loans interactively through eMPF will also experience a reduction in the number of fields required to complete a successful loan presentment.

MPF Program Guide & MPF Glossary Updates

The MPF Program Guide and the MPF Glossary have been clarified for consistency and to update any typos/formatting issues. Please note the changes were published today and were non-substantive.
